An Etive odyssey
A chilly run down the River Etive in January. Paddlers were Graeme Cleary, Graham Dawson, Graham Bell, Tom Alexander and Gary Fawcett. A couple of the paddlers popped their Etive cherry whilst another rather experienced paddler popped his ego but hey ho….we are ALL between swims
Hope you enoy it and make sure you watch it in HD!

A little bit of the Avon
A short video of our trip to the Lanarkshire Avon. Paddlers were Graeme Cleary, Alan & Duncan Stewart, John Hill, Graham Bell and Gary Fawcett. The video shows the two main rapids; Boulder Garden and Big Linn
Stanley – whirlies revenge
Club trip No.1 for 2011. A great fun trip to the Stanley section of the River Tay at a nice medium level with the linn firing out some hungry whirlpools. The paddlers are Dr Graham, Subaru Graham, Young Graeme, Peter (who also filmed the footage…thanks Pete!), Duncan, Tom, Alan and some other old git. Hope you enjoy it. Hope you enjoy it. Also, for your info, if you have (or open) a vimeo account you can download the higher quality version of the movie.

Cornwall 2010
A VERY rough cut of last years annual trip to Cornwall just to get you ready for the club surf trip to Glenbarr.

Upper Gryffe
Here’s a little video of a recent blast down the River Gryffe between Kilmalcolm and Bridge of Weir; a fun little grade 2/3 trip with some nice reef falls and the odd play wave. The paddlers are Scott, Graham, Stuart and Gary F (filming on a waterproof camera, hence the dodgy quality). Hope you enjoy it. I’m sure we’ll have a trip or two down in before the fishing season starts.

Team X-treme on the Awe
Here’s a very short video clip of Adam and Neil high fiving on the Magnetic Boulder wave on the River Awe. Many thanks to Nigel Warnes of Monklands Canoe Club for sending in the clip.
Pummel on the Tummel
On a glorious Sunday 27th July, we ran Perthshire’s River Tummel. This is a short movie of the days events. I’ll put together a DVD containing this movie and a “full length”, rough edit so you can watch all those “interesting” lines you took down the river.

Brokeback Mheuran
A fun (if somewhat masocistic) tributary of the River Etive, this wee gem of a river has a rather nasty reputation for breaking backs, faces & kit…but hey, it’s still damned good fun.
Lord of the Etive
A blast down the Etive at medium flow and the Allt A Chaorainn at a cracking level!
Falloch – Team Extreme in effect!
Chris & Adam (a.k.a. Team Extreme ) running the 30 foot Falls of Falloch and a couple of other rapids.
OK, here’s an experimental upload of an LPKC Tummel trip on Vimeo as I’m sick of how awful YOUTUBE makes the videos look! A great beginners trip to Stanley on the River Tay. Plenty of thrills and spills in this one…watch that swim tally climb! Tummel – June **NEW**
Stanley – April

[...] Also, I’ve added a very short video of a recent trip by Scott, Stuart, Graham and me down the River Gryffe; a fun wee grade 2/3 trip. Check out the video page. [...]
